Ritual del Equinoccio de Primavera

Spring Equinox Ritual

In the spirit of the ancient wisdom of the Mexica culture, we invite you to celebrate the Spring Equinox with a ritual that honors the renewal of life and connection to the cosmos.

This is a ritual you can do from the comfort of your home:

1.Preparation of the Sacred Space:

- Find a quiet place in your home or outdoors where you can be in touch with nature.

-Decorate your space with flowers, plants, and vibrant colors that represent the energy of spring.

2. Invocation to the Four Elements:

-Begin the ritual by bowing to the four cardinal points: east, west, north and south.

-Recognize the presence of the elements earth, air, fire and water in your sacred space.

-Light a candle in the center of the altar as a symbol of the fire and light that guides us in the darkness.

3. Meditation and Renewal:

- Sit quietly in front of the altar and close your eyes.

- Breathe deeply and tune into the energy of the equinox.

- Visualize how the sunlight illuminates your inner being, renewing your spirit and awakening new possibilities in your life.

  • Ask the Mexica gods for their blessing for this new cycle of growth and transformation.

4. Renewal Intention:

-With a piece of paper and a pen, reflect on areas of your life that you want to renew or strengthen in this new season.

-Write one or more clear and positive intentions for personal growth, health, relationships, or any other aspect you wish to illuminate in your life.

  • Once you've written your intentions, hold the paper in your hands and visualize how these intentions manifest in your life with clarity and abundance.

5. Thanksgiving and Closing:

-End the ritual with a symbolic gesture, such as planting a seed in the ground or leaving an offering of gratitude in nature, such as tobacco or copal.

-Take a few moments to reflect on your intentions for spring and how you can contribute to balance and harmony in the world.

May this Spring Equinox ritual fill you with renewal, connection, and gratitude as you celebrate the eternal cycle of life and light. 🌞🌱
